About Me

This was on the sidebar of my blog until I finally updated it in March of 2014:
They say we should take advantage of this time of life: 20-something, unattached, free to go anywhere and do anything, to follow the Lord wherever He leads...
And that's what I did.
But I'm not 20-something anymore. I'm no longer single. And while in some ways I am still "free to do anything", I have a mortgage payment and lots of good reasons to stay in Indianapolis for now. So rather than delete the sweet little summary, I edited it and added this:
Then, just before my 30th birthday (and French themed party), I met a cute guy at a French conversation club. We started dating. We fell in love. We got engaged in May 2013 and married on November 16 of that same year.
Now I'm 30-something, a wife, and a home owner. I'm still overcoming sin and bad habits. I'm still focused on becoming a woman devoted to Christ. I still follow the Lord wherever He leads...
My name is Katie. I'm married to Jeff. We both love to travel, speak French, and are still in the process of figuring out what we want to be when we grow up. We got married and bought a house at the same time. Trying new recipes, tackling home improvement projects, and bringing order to our half acre of yard define most of my time at home.

It's whole new world. It's really fun. It's really challenging. And I can't wait to see what this new life holds!
